Grants Administrator/Grants Administration Assistant

The Prague Civil Society Centre is seeking a Grants Administrator or Grants Administration Assistant (title dependent on experience) to join its growing Grants team. In this role, you'll be the main contact point for partners on administrative aspects of project implementation and oversee the administration of the grants throughout the whole project cycle. You'll be responsible for:

• Organising grants selections, including administrative oversight of submitted project proposals and budgets, preparing selection committees and communicating their decisions;

• Contracting, including risk assessments, of potential partners;

• Processing payments;

• Review of the financial reports and supporting documents;

• Archiving and maintaining audit-ready files;  

• Other tasks related to project administration and communication with partners.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Fluency in written and spoken English and Russian;

• At least one year of experience in a relevant field, e.g. project administration or project management;

• Excellent computer skills (MS Word and Excel);

• Cybersecurity literacy;

• High level of self-organisation, reliability and diligence in approach to work;

• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, capacity to work in a multi-national team

• Proactivity, ability to work independently and prioritise tasks;

• Reliability and accuracy;

• Good capacity to work in multi-national team, patience and team spirit;

• Understanding of civil society and the region;

• Personal qualities of integrity, credibility, and dedication to the mission of the organisation.

About the position:

The position is a full-time (40 hours per week) role based in our headquarters in central Prague. The role comes with a competitive salary and 25 days of annual leave.  Candidates must independently have access to the Czech labour market as we cannot provide assistance with visas and work permissions for this position.
